Support Tasman Peninsula: head to the Port Arthur Tattoo

SUPPORT the fire affected Peninsula and lock this event in your diaries.

April will see the inaugural Port Arthur Tattoo perform at the historic site. Pack your picnic blanket and folding chair, and enjoy an amazing show set against a stunning backdrop of Port Arthur.

The Port Arthur Tattoo program will feature exhilarating performances by The Tasmania Police Pipe Band, The Clarence Concert Band, City of Hobart Highland Pipe Band, St Andrews Caledonian Pipe Band, Derwent Scottish Pipe Band, Hobart Australian Navy Cadet Band, Army Band Tasmania and the fleet footed Hobart Irish dancers and the Hobart Scottish Dancers.

The Port Arthur gourmet barbecue will be available, with local distiller William McHenry & Sons on site to tempt you with his single malt whisky.

The event will also raise money for  the Tasmanian Red Cross Tasmanian Bushfires 2013 Appeal as well as revive tourism. Why not make a weekend of it?
