Government needs to ensure workers are treated fairly
A MEDIA release from Tasmanian Labor today showed the gross inequity in the doling out of Workplace Renewal Incentive Programs.
A public sector worker employed for almost four decades was offered a scant $7500.
After the CPSU intervened, the worker was then offered $15,000 – still scant, with only four days to decide.
This example shows the process is unfair.
