Govt stalling Radiation Therapist Agreement negotiations
CPSU and HACSU have been negotiating for a new Radiation Therapists Agreement since serving the log of claims to the government nearly 10 months ago.
Meetings were recently held in the Holman Clinics in Launceston and Hobart to determine a way forward and, with concise instruction from Members, the CPSU and HACSU will now renew efforts to get agreement from government for these critical workers.
As with other recent negotiations, the government’s hands-off attitude and refusal to constructively engage with unions and their Members has stalled and frustrated the process. The PSUWA is likely to be agreed in the near future and the Radiation Therapists Agreement is likely to follow.
