New Organiser for the South

THE CPSU’s Sarah Smith is the new Organiser for the south. Sarah has worked in a range of roles across the CPSU since starting in February 2008, and brings a swathe of experience to her new position.

Completing her Certificate 3 in Business traineeship at the union, Sarah went on to project work where she worked on translation reviews, then she worked in the CPSU’s Member Advice and Support Team around individual issues before moving to the Education Support Team (EST) dealing with redeployment and redundancies.

While still currently working on EST issues Sarah will now work as an Organiser in the following organisational units: Administration staff in schools statewide; Community Corrections statewide; Port Arthur Historic Site; Tasmanian Audit Office statewide; Various tribunals and commissions statewide; Department of Justice corporate sites statewide; TOTE Tasmania statewide; and Legal Aid.

Sarah said she’s excited about working in a new role and getting out to meet Members and Delegates. Ccontact Sarah on 6234 1708 or email s.smith@tas.cpsu.com.au.
