IT’S USUALLY best if a matter is dealt with when it arises rather than building up to something bigger. In most cases when someone has an issue or enquiry in your workplace the first thing they should do is discuss it with their immediate supervisor. Workplace Delegates can also offer support, help or advice and it may be that more than one person in the workplace is affected by the issue. Your Award or Agreement can be a good place to find answers too, and they can be found at Our Member Advice & Support Team helps Members with workplace issues but there are often steps that can be taken before picking up the phone.
