Exciting project for CPSU Delegates

LAST year Delegates who took part in the Anna Stewart program made a film showing the importance of recognising domestic violence as a workplace issue, and we’re about to re-film and produce a high definition version for the Australian Domestic and Family Violence Clearinghouse to use nationally.

This is an exciting venture for the CPSU and the Delegates involved and it will help raise the profile of an important issue that needs to be recognised in workplaces.

The Anna Stewart Memorial Project is an annual work experience program that aims to increase women’s active union involvement and their understanding of unions. The Project’s run since 1984 and it honours the life and work of Anna Stewart – a tireless worker for women. This year it runs from August 7-16.
