Police redundancy update
YESTERDAY Tasmania Police announced 25 State Service Employees and 49 police officers had accepted voluntary redundancy offers. The Commissioner of Police Darren Hine said the loss of these experienced employees was “an unfortunate reality of the budget cuts”.
