Movember update: PWS team
NOVEMBER’s almost over – and it’s almost time to say ciao to the mo.
The Parks and Wildlife Service team, Parks and Wildgrowth, have done a top job in their Movember effort.
CPSU Delegate Tom Courto said he’s proud of what the team’s achieved, with 25 registered and over $3100 raised.
Fundraisers for the Wildgrowth team included a cake and comestibles challenge, Mountain Mo Bike Ride, and the point to pinnacle.
“While we were slightly down on the funds that we raised last year, we were up on participation which for Movember is the main goal,” he said. “The team really got on board with the men’s health message and came up with some great ideas which I think will come back bigger and better next growing season.”

Tom’s number one men’s health tip is to go and have a full and frank check up with your GP. “Men In general are happy to be in the dark on their own health, both mental and physical. You service your car to make sure its running efficiently, so why not your own mental and physical health?”
Way to go Parks and Wildgrowth – may the mo be with you!
