Workplace satisfaction survey closed

RESULTS are expected soon from the CPSU-HACSU commissioned Workplace Satisfaction survey.

The survey closed yesterday, with research company Survey Matters reporting they’d received a great response, both in terms of numbers and being representative of the population.

About 5000 randomly selected State Service employees were invited to participate in the survey – both Members and other employees across every agency.

The survey asked questions around the following topics:
• Leadership;

• Communication;

• Working conditions;

• Resources; and

• Development opportunities.

Results are expected within the next fortnight.
The survey is an initial tool for investigating this, with other research activities planned during 2013, including a Member survey, focus groups and case studies of specific work areas.

The CPSU is committed to making the Tasmanian public sector a better place to work.
