State Voting Intentions May 2013
TODAY EMRS released the latest State Voting Intentions poll results for May 2013.
Respondents were asked which political party they would vote for and also who was their preferred Premier.
Support for the Liberal Party dropped by 1% to 54% from February to May, while support for Labour increased by 5% to 28%. Support for the Greens dropped from 14% to 18%. When asked what political party they would vote for, the number of undecided voters increased by 10% from February to May 2013.
Support for Will Hodgman as preferred Premier increased 3 points from February to May, with 46% of respondents nominating him. Support for Lara Giddings increased by 1%, with support at 25% in May. Support for Nick McKim as preferred Premier dropped 3% from February to May, now at 10%.
The results also showed that 20% of respondents preferred none of the three candidates.
