Hundreds support Walk Together

HUNDREDS turned out at Saturday’s Walk Together in Hobart.

The event that was echoed in capital cities across on Saturday was about celebrating diversity and welcoming people of all nationalities to Australia.

Despite cold conditions, hundred walked in support of the cause from parliament lawns to the Bahai Centre in Hobart, holding signs with messages of support.

Children, parents, young, old turned out, with some even some even marching with their dogs.

Along the way motorists honked their car horns in support. After arriving at the Bahai Centre, there were speeches and cultural performances celebrating cultural diversity.
