ABC staff cast their votes on offer

THERE’S finally a decent deal on the table for ABC staff.

It comes after a difficult fight with ABC management over many months.

National CPSU and Media Entertainment & Arts Alliance Members are casting their votes this week on the deal, after Media Entertainment & Arts Alliance

CPSU National President Michael Tull said in April the ABC put a sub-standard offer to these workers that was below inflation and meant  serious cuts to existing conditions.

“Members rightly rejected this offer.” As a result of continued and ongoing pressure from CPSU and MEAA members since that time, ABC management has finally put a fairer agreement on the table.”

Mr Tull said both unions believed it was a good agreement in the current environment and all present ABC workers would be better off overall.
