Department of State Growth
THE advent of the new financial year saw two state departments merge.
This week the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources (DIER) and the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts (DEDTA) joined to become the Department of State Growth.
The CPSU’s worked with Members and Delegates in both agencies since the Tasmanian Liberals announced the policy for the merger before the state election. Your union’s held forums and set up committees to try and get answers to questions and ensure the transition was as smooth as possible. Delegates have been invaluable in their contribution and support during this process.
The CPSU will continue to work with Members and Delegates on this change.
