Parks and Wildlife: Movembering to raise money for men’s health

Print

THIS year it’s the Parks and Wildgrowth Tasmania team’s eight Movember growing season and it’s aiming to get as many Parks and Wildlife Service staff on-board as possible, as well as raising funds and awareness for men’s health issues.

Parks and Wildgrowth Moustache Commander and Chief Tom Courto encourages you to get on board and support a terrific cause.

We all have family and friends who have been affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer or mental health issues such as depression.

If any Parks and Wildlife Service staff and their family members want to sign on and get involved they can contact Tom Courto at thomas.courto@parks.tas.gov.au  for more information.

CPSU Members – please help us make this growing season successful by visiting and liking the team’s mo-space page here, donating to the team to spur them on, and while you’re at it leave a message of support!

Whether it’s $5 or $50, every little bit is not only appreciated by the team, but goes toward funding the key programs Movember and its partners facilitate and support each year.

If anyone would like any further information please feel free to contact Tom Courto at thomas.courto@parks.tas.gov.au or visit the Movember website http://au.movember.com.

The CPSU’s Nick Duncombe is taking part in Movember, with CPSU Comms gal Jo Clydesdale also joining the Parks and Wildgrowth team as a supportive ‘Mo-Sista’.

Get on board for a great cause!
