Education cuts impact children with a disability
A RECENT survey shows that Tasmanian kids are bearing the brunt of budget cuts. The survey, conducted by the Tasmanian Disability Education Reform Lobby saw 131 families take part, which represented 222 children. Results showed that budget cuts the Tasmanian Government announced last year has had an immediate impact on school support being offered to all students in 2015.
Impacts the survey participants cited included larger class sizes and loss of Teacher Assistant hours.
