Member receives back pay after lack of information on roster change
THE CPSU helped a Member receive back pay recently.
The Member was removed from the on-call roster. However they weren’t properly informed about this, and so the Member kept performing the duties associated with being on-call, and kept getting call outs.
A year later the Member noticed something wasn’t quite right when they’d noticed a discrepancy with their pay. With the CPSU’s help, this case went to the Tasmanian Industrial Commission and the Member received back pay.
