Liberals release education promises
TODAY Education Minister Jeremy Rockliff announced that, if elected, the Liberals would spend $207m over four years on the sector.
Mr Rockliff committed to hiring 227 more staff, 192 teachers and 80 Teacher Assistants. As it was only released this morning, we still need to look at the detail.
Staff in our schools allow teachers to teach and children to learn, they keep our schools running.
The Liberals are the last of the three major parties to release their education policy.
