PSUWA 2018 Survey out now
Your current wages agreement expires on 30 June 2018. The final increase of the current agreement was paid in December 2017. Despite claims the State budget has been repaired the Hodgman majority Liberal government has indicated it intends to continue its policy of capping wage increases at 2% for the foreseeable future.
Tasmanian public sector workers like most Australian workers, need and deserve a decent wage increase and this will clearly be a key issue in negotiations. There are however other issues such as workload, funding and unlocking the skills that exist in the public sector that are equally important. The purpose of this survey is to get your ideas and priorities for the next agreement.
The PSUWA 2018 Survey is out now. Make sure you have your say on your work and pay.
