Technical Officer – Land Titles Office
My job helps the Tasmanian community by:
“My job helps the Tasmanian community by assisting professional organisations and the general public with a broad range of surveying and Title enquiries, either by phone, email or in person. Drawing plans, inputting spatial data of new survey plans so this information can be imported into ‘THE LIST’ database, as well as the scanning of plans and associated data, which is then made available to organisations and the public for purchasing or viewing via ‘THE LIST’.”
I joined the union because:
I am interested in contributing to the conversation on work related issues.
I became a CPSU Delegate because:
I believe the Union should have strong and broad representation across the public sector and, importantly, I felt this was a way I could positively assist and support colleagues who may experience workplace issues.
My biggest passion outside work is:
Being a Dad / practicing and teaching Martial Arts / Playing Guitar.
One thing I’d like to change or see happen in my community is:
Improved options for access to public transport to relieve congestion on our roads.
Something unrelated to the other questions that I’d like to mention is:
I have worked in the Tasmanian Public Service for 9 years.
One thing that I’ve learnt (In your Delegate role):
Not to assume anything and to keep open mind to other people’s situations.
