These Awards are about recognising the achievements of the workers who deliver the services we all need.

We’ll announce the Award winners at our AGM on August 31.
2018 CPSU Award Categories:
Nick Duncombe Memorial Award for Workplace Health & Safety
CPSU Organiser Nick Duncombe was a dedicated unionist who was passionate about work, health and safety.
This award recognises a CPSU Member who’s shown similar passion when tackling work, health and safety issues in their workplace.
Tasplan Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Tasmanian Community
This award is for someone who goes above and beyond to deliver a high quality service with that little bit extra to their local community. Open to all Tas public sector workers including those in Government Business Enterprises and at the University of Tasmania.
CPSU Award for Outstanding Contribution by a Workplace Delegate
Our union relies on our Workplace Delegates to communicate with Members, to support, inspire and educate them and to use their leadership skills to improve their colleagues’ working lives. Open to all CPSU Delegates and Honorary Officials.
Suzanne Pearce Memorial Award for outstanding work in children and youth services.
Child Protection worker Suzanne Pearce died tragically in 2007.
The CPSU Suzanne Pearce Memorial Award recognises the work of those dedicated people working with our children, young people and their families. Open to all Children & Youth Services employees.
