Wear Red Day – Devonport & Burnie

Tasmanians need a fair pay rise and the first step in achieving that goal is for Will Hodgman to scrap his 2% cap on public sector wages.

If you live in the North West August 21 is your chance to join the people who work every day to provide the services you rely on – the librarians, teachers, rangers, nurses and fire fighters – to say to Will Hodgman that Tasmanians shouldn’t earn less than other Australians and that our standard of living shouldn’t be falling when the economy is booming.

On 21 August we are asking all Tasmanians in the North West to wear red to work and join in our community activities.
