Last week we saw public sector union members turn out to an action on State Budget Eve on Parliament Lawns.
Members of public sector unions said:
• They say NO to wage rises below the cost of living;
• They say NO to trading off conditions to pay for basic wage rises; and
• They say NO to wage rises that are not fully funded in the budget
To demonstrate this, we made a human “no” on the lawns. It was a sitting day, and no doubt the Premier and Treasurer were aware of the action.
