My job is: With Visitor Services, Parks and Wildlife on Maria Island since 2012.
My job helps the Tasmanian community by: Protecting its natural and cultural assets, facilitating the sustainable use of Tasmania’s reserve system and educating the public of its value.
I joined the union because: I needed the support and care. I have gratitude and respect for the professionalism I have experienced though the support offered by CPSU staff and representatives.
I became a CPSU Delegate because: I wanted to help others and be aware of how the CPSU can support and assist individually or collectively.
My biggest passion or hobby outside work is: My work – wildlife, photography of all things nature, plus a bit of golf, whiskey and beer.
One thing I’d like to change or see happen in my community is: More value placed on the public sector. That there’s less economic focus on tourism, and to stop the unsustainable ‘abuse’ of the Tasmanian reserve system.
