Libraries Tasmania: Big win for Band 1 workers!
CPSU Members at Libraries Tasmania are celebrating their WIN that will see Band 1s promoted to Band 2. “It’s been a long time coming” CPSU Organiser Trina Meurant has been told.
This is what the CPSU has advocated for on behalf of Libraries Tasmania Band 1 workers since August of last year, when over 160 Libraries Tasmania workers supported the petition, which was sent to Tim Bullard early November 2022.
The CPSU welcomes this win for members – it’s no mean feat for a whole group of workers across the state to move up a band, thanks to member action. Thanks to all Libraries Tasmania members who took part in this campaign so far.
