Friday 24 November sees the start of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. Gender-based violence is a human rights violation but pervasive here in Australia and worldwide. As a union we stand against all violence and discrimination. We are proud of the work that members do to address and reduce family violence, across many services, despite understaffing and underfunding.
