That’s why we need to ensure the Close the Loopholes Legislation goes through Federal Parliament – to tighten up the loopholes that employers use to keep wages and conditions low for workers.
In great news last week the legislation passed the House of Representatives. But the real battle is in the Senate. Big business is throwing a whole lot of power and influence (and money from its massive profits) behind trying to stop this Bill. Unions members across the country are talking to their local Senators, asking them to pass this important legislation.
