CPSU SPSF – Tasmania Branch Post Election Report

Community & Public Sector Union (State Public Services Federation, Tasmanian Branch) elections have now officially finished, and the Australian Electoral Commission has sent through a post-election report. Click here to read the full report.

In short, the AEC raised no issues about the union’s election rules or the quality and availability of our roll of voters.

This was the election of the CPSU Office holders, including Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Executive Officials, including Treasurer, President and Vice President, as well as Branch Electorate Councilors.

Together they form the committee of management, which makes decisions on behalf of members.

This is another way our union is member run and member led.

Electorate Councilors come from all corners of services Tasmanians rely on. They are elected by members to represent your electorate. They volunteer their time to work on your behalf to ensure members are represented.
