Real Recognition Needed this Schools Recognition Week

We know how hard Schools staff work to keep Tasmanian schools and colleges running. This week is Schools Recognition Week – but schools workers need more than thanks. They need real recognition. 

And that’s what CPSU members are standing up for this Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement. 

CPSU General Secretary Thirza White:  

“School support staff are the backbone of a school and the real unsung heroes. Everyday and certainly through the pandemic”.  

CPSU Members are standing up for real recognition this Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement.

From improved career structures, which allow for recognition of skills and easier progression to ending standdown and parity in leave entitlements with other workers in schools – there are a lot of ways to truly recognise the work you all do.
